Impact of the rotary vane on the cylinder wall

If the design, manufacturing or materials are improperly used, the rotary vane will not slide smoothly, or due to the exhaust dead space, the incompressible oil causes the rotary vane head to not always close to the cylinder wall, which will cause the rotary vane to move against the cylinder wall. The impact sounds. Therefore, it is advisable to adopt a structure with a circular arc surface separating the intake and exhaust ports. Use exhaust diversion groove to eliminate dead space.

When using a line-separated structure, the distance from the exhaust end point to the tangent point should be shortened as much as possible. For rotary vane gear pumps below 70L/s, considering the actual thickness of the rotary vane, it is recommended to take 7~10mm, and the larger gear pump value. When it is too close, due to the existence of the rotor blade groove and only a narrow strip of contact with the rotor blade head, if the sealing effect of the rotor blade turns to the tangent point position is not good, it will affect the pumping speed and even the ultimate pressure of the gear pump. It can be seen that this structure cannot completely eliminate the exhaust dead gap and limits the noise reduction level.
